Altamont Creek Elementary, Livermore CA - Garden Improvement Project

Outdoorsy Tribe is organising a volunteer workday in collobration with Altamont Creek Elementary, Livermore, CA school district teachers to provide a helping hand in enhancing the current garden on campus.

Altamont Creek garden classroom is a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.  It is also certified by the Bay Friendly Landscaping and Gardening Coalition.  Fully organic it helps students learn about nutrition and food systems. In addition the garden features a bird viewing area, a compost area, and an area for students to write, read, sketch and measure. 

Outddoorsy Tribe is passionate about the learning without walls and hopes to contibute in this school garden in our small way.
